James Alan Cameron

James Alan Cameron, 43, a resident of the Hillsboro community died Saturday September 21, 2013 at his home.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at St Matthew Catholic Church in Hillsboro, OR

Family and friends are invited to attend a reception following the Mass held in the parish hall.

Rite of Christian Burial and Vault interment will follow the reception at 2:00 p.m. at St Matthew Catholic Cemetery in Hillsboro, OR.

James was born on March 16, 1970 in Springfield, Mass. He was the only child born to James J. and Theresa "Terry" (LeBlanch)Cameron. James was raised and received his education in Westfield Mass. and attended Westfield High School graduating with the Class of 1988. James then attended college in Springfield, Mass where he received his bachelor's degree in computer science.

James loved computers and from an early age he was always fascinated by them. He had started with a TR80 system but was always outpacing his peers. He was employed by Spalding and moved to Oregon in 1994 when he started working for Intel where he had made his home since.

He was united in marriage to Julie Moore on May 12, 2001 in Springfield, Mass. Following their marriage they made their home in Hillsboro, OR. They divorced in 2008.

James enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing, camping hunting and hiking. He was an avid video game player, reader, and skier as well.

He is survived by his loving parents; James and Terry Cameron of Hillsboro, OR and several nieces and nephews.
