John Russell Berge

John passed away Saturday, December 21st, in Seattle Washington. He was born August 13th, 1935 in Chippewa Falls Wisconsin, and spent his childhood years in Schofield Oregon with his parents Edna and George, and brothers Bruce and Bob.
John served 2 years in the Navy and upon returning home married his high school sweetheart Marlene in September 1958. John and Marlene celebrated 61 years of a loving marriage and had two children Barbara and Thomas.
John was devoted to his family and he also enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing and hunting. John had a wonderful sense of humor and he will be missed dearly.
John is survived by his wife Marlene, daughter Barbara and husband Charlie, son Thomas and wife Katie, granddaughters Jessica, Christine, Amelia, and his brother Bob.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations may be made in John's name to the Northwest Parkinson's Foundation
