Mark Lawson

Mark Elwyn Lawson, age 67,from Sherwood, Oregon, passed away on May 21, 2026.
Mark was born on November 5th, 1958 in McMinnville,OR to Walter E & Mary Ellen
(Kragerud) Lawson. He was the youngest of 4 children. Raised in Sherwood and
attended both Sherwood High School and Amity High School in the 1970’s.

Mark was drafted into the US ARMY before he finished high school, and served as an
infantry man.
He then married his high school love, they had a daughter, Kristin in 1986. He remarried
years later, and got a wonderful step daughter Stormy through that marriage.
He worked alongside his father in the family septic repair business -, A-Active Septic
Service until his father’s retirement in 2005. Mark was the best mechanic and could fix
anything. He loved to do projects around the home and for other people. He was kind
and generous with his time and talents. He loved math, camping, dogs, music and
attending rock concerts.
He is preceded in death by his 2nd wife, Pamela, his parents, and a sister Cathy
McNeill.
He is survived by his daughter, and his step daughter, 3 grandchildren, 2 sisters, lots
of nieces, nephews and cousins, and so many friends. He was very loved and will be
missed dearly.
