Remor Lamon Farrimond Obituary (1932

Remor Lamon Farrimond, 89, a resident of the Cornelius community, passed away on December 23, 2021 at Ruby Brazelton Adult Foster Care. Remor was born on February 27, 1932 in Moroni, Utah. She was the fourth of six children born to Lionel and Izela (Keele) Curtis. She was raised in Moroni and attended Moroni High School. Remor married George F. Farrimond on June 3, 1952. Shortly after, they started their family, having four children. They raised their children all over the United States, moving for George's service in the Air Force. They moved their family to Ashland in 1976. While in Ashland, Remor went back to school and earned her GED. In 1987, Remor and George divorced. She moved to Cornelius in 1987 to be closer to her family. Remor was an avid sports fan. She enjoyed watching football and baseball on tv and loved watching her grandchildren play sports. She was an excellent cook, baker and seamstress. She loved animals and cared for animals in need. Often, she could be found outdoors, tending to her garden and other plants. She is preceded in death by her daughter Carrie, her parents and four siblings: Francis, Richard, Betty, and Ina. She is survived by her three children: Ken and Emily Farrimond of Aloha, Oregon; Ron and Kris Farrimond of Orlando, Florida; Holly Farrimond of Springfield, Oregon; sister, Iris Hunter of Salt Lake City, Utah; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
