Robin Ewer

–

Beaverton, OR

Robin Elizabeth Ewer, 73, a resident of the Hillsboro community passed away on October 14, 2026.

Robin was born on September 25, 1953 in Sullivan, IN. She was the middle of three daughters born to Robert and Margaret (Stewart) Uffen. She was raised between Indiana, Germany, Panama and Fort Lewis Washington, as her family moved around for her father’s military career. Robin graduated from Olympia high school with the class of 1972.

Robin met her future husband, Gary Ewer, in Olympia high school, in Horticulture class. After their first date, he knew she was the one and they were together ever since. Robin and Gary were united in marriage in 1973 and made their first home together in Virginia Beach, Virginia. After Gary’s military service in the Navy, they moved back to Olympia in 1974 and began their family immediately and were blessed with three sons. In 1990, the family moved to Oregon.

Robin was very proud of her first job at Capital Theater in Olympia as a ticket taker. She continued to work outside of the house, loved doing screen printing, working at the Artful Garden, and volunteered countless hours helping other people, but her priority was always being an amazing homemaker for her family. Robin was an excellent cook and baker. She used her creative skills and joy of baking, to gift trays filled with beautifully hand decorated sugar cookies to many friends and family members. She was always known as a giver. Robin also loved ceramics and was an avid Disney fan. She and Gary enjoyed an unforgettable 3-week trip together in 2014 to Dublin Ireland, Edinburgh Scotland, then took a train to London and finally to Paris and Disneyland Paris, a trip Robin had dreamed of taking for years.

Robin also went on two short-term mission trips to India with Village Church to present Community Health training and share her love for Christ. She continued her lifelong serving and volunteering at Village Church as well as Homeplate Youth in Hillsboro.

She is preceded in passing by her younger brother Curt, older sister Deborah and her parents.

She is survived by her loving husband Gary, sons Nathan and Rhianan Ewer of Hillsboro, Joe and Lanae Ewer of Beaverton, Mark Ewer and Ann Marie King of Milwaukie, Sister Victoria Uffen of Olympia, five grandchildren; Hannah, Jon, Joey, Ian, Oliver and great granddaughter Mariah.
