Susan Bogdanov

Susan Bogdanov, 70, a resident of the Bethany community passed away on Sunday evening April 29, 2018 at her home.
Susan was born on January 24, 1948 in Munich, Germany. She was one of six children born to William and Anne P. (Wilson) Richardson.  Susan was an "Army Brat" and had followed her father's career all over the world. She attended Eastwood high School in El Paso and graduated with the Class of 1966. Following high school Susan was one of two women to Serve in the Naval reserves in El Paso as a seaman 2nd class until her marriage. She also attended University of Texas and attained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
She was united in marriage to Peter Bogdanov in 1968 in San Francisco and they later divorced in 1975. They had two children Ana Macrae and Peter. Susan moved from el Paso to Portland in 1986 were she has lived since.
Susan had worked as an accountant all of her life working primarily with the property management industry. She retired in 2014. She enjoyed sewing, swimming and watching movies. She was also an avid reader, liked to travel and adored her cats. She was also a volunteer at her church in El Paso, TX.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Robert Richardson
She is survived by her two children and a daughter-in-law; Ana Macrae Bogdanov of Portland, Peter and Donna Bogdanov of Hawaii, four siblings; Anne Swan of Half Moon Bay, CA, Adrian Ortega of El Paso, TX, Johnny Richardson of Phoenix, AZ,  Mary Delmar of Alamogordo, New Mexico and three grandchildren, Isaiah Bogdanov, Natalia Bogdanov, Kasa Bogdanov.
